This special edition CAT9 Travel Ball Baseball Bat is crafted for excellence, featuring Marucci’s new AZR Alloy. AZR alloy utilizes a three-stage thermal treatment process, which offers a more responsive microstructure for better feel, more forgiveness, and more performance. The barrel of the CAT9 features a multi-variable wall design, creating an expanded sweet spot, while the thinner barrel walls are more forgiving after off-centered contact. The ring-free barrel construction allows for more barrel flex and increases performance with no “dead” spots. Marucci’s 2nd Generation AV2 Anti-Vibration knob is designed with an upgraded, finely tuned harmonic dampening system for improved feel and less negative vibrational feedback. The CAT9’s one-piece alloy construction provides a clean, consistent traditional swing; additionally, the precision-balanced barrel results in a lower MOI while the balanced feel offers precision and control.
