Barrel up pitches with the all-new Marucci CATX BBCOR -3 Baseball Bat. This finely tuned BBCOR baseball bat features a balanced, one-piece alloy design, ideal for any type of hitter. The optimized barrel profile creates more surface area with a ring-free, multi-variable wall design across the entire barrel for a wider, more consistent sweet spot. It’s constructed with high-grade AZR Aluminum; this responsive, durable alloy provides better feel, more forgiveness, and performance. Marucci tightened their production tolerances; this allows the barrel diameters to be built to the maximum limit, creating more surface area and higher overall performance. The balance point of the new CATX has been moved ~1″ closer to hitter’s hands for faster swings and increased barrel control. The custom-molded handle taper is ergonomically designed for each drop for a better fit, more bat control, and better overall feel between player and bat. Additionally, the taper is designed to be easily removed to fit athletes’ preferences. Marucci’s new patented pending liquid-gel dampening knob technology features an optimal amount of liquid-gel to reduce and absorb vibrations for a smooth, solid feel during contact.
